The price of the ring is not important. Its the meaning and love and relationship that the ring represents. The price doesnt say how much you love each other or show how much you care for one another. The price shouldnt matter any.

If I understand you correctly you are just asking how much someones ring costs right? It seems that some people on here want to jump to conclusions and start lecturing about what you expect....I am not married but I hope to be someday and I would like my ring to be something that I love to wear everyday....I have looked out of curiosity and have seen some very nice rings costing between $1200-$5000.

$900 for the engagement ring, but we later had the diamond reset at an additional cost of $100. That was also 14 years ago.

My first marriage I got a 3000 dollar ring.... Way too much for two people making slightly over minimum wage. Made payments on that ring for 5 years I think.....
My second marriage: Nothing. Didn't want one, even though I was in a much better financial situation than I was with the first husband.

Never got one but my wedding ring cost $150 because we were broke and all that was important was the wedding, not the rings. I love that ring.

I never wanted one, so I didn't get one. He did want me to get one, but I knew I wouldn't be comfortable wearing it. The only jewelery I wear is my wedding ring. Married 23 years now.

Mine was a cheapo. We got it at Zales for $450 total for the set. But hey- we were 21, broke college students. I love it though...
