You do the exact same thing over and over and over again. And then you do it a few more times. Your character seems to become a less skilled sword fighter the further into the game you get. And the controls are some of the worst I have ever seen. And why cant your guy swim? The hardest part of the entire game is getting around the docks because the controls are so bad you just end up flying off into the water and drowning. What a letdown.

I dont get where I said the game was hard. I said the hardest part was getting around with the shoddy controls....which would tell me the game itself is crap. Some of you clowns really need to work on your comprehension skills.

Yeah, I can see what you mean. I was looking forward to buying this game but when I read video game previews about this game I was immediately turned off because I read something about the controls being very different.

In this months EGM magazine, one of the reviewers rated Assassin's Creed a 4.5 out of 10!!! But the 2 other reviewers in EGM magazine gave Assassin's Creed a 6 and a 7.

In the review they also stated how you basically do the same thing over and over again in the game and it gets very repetitive and I don't like repetitive games. All I've got to say is that I'm glad that I read the video game previews and reviews because I was going to buy Assassins Creed when it first came out, and now I see that it didn't really live up to all the hype.

yes, i can understand how doing the same thing over and over again will be boring. But frustrating? I found this game extremely easy, and the reason for not swiming is to make the game less complex and harder. Like if you jump of a building into water, then you just swim off? that will be too easy, after every mission near water, or when your just being chased by guards you just jump into water to lose them? that will make an already easy game even easier. And the controls are easy to use, if you know how to use them, the docks are easy to manuverve, especially when you jumping along boats.

This game was not a letdown. The only thing that was bad was the ending. And this game is at least worth 8/10, if not better - the fighting scenes, stabbing, climbing ability and cities make it at least 8

well yes. there are quite a few, oblivion pc for example. Assassins creed takes time to learn the controls. Once you have mastered them its easy. And the skills? Follow the plot. Prince of persia was a let down because of u having to be precise so i think that ubisoft used assassins creed to update that sandbox genre.

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha. If you think Assassin's Creed is frustrating, you really need to expand your gaming horizons. Seriously. Assassin's Creed is child's play (but still a good game) compared to games like the Fire Emblem series.
