They will point fingers at everyone but themselves, nothing will come of it, and we the fans will still support the teams.
This is what should happen though, anyone mentioned in the report, should be banned for life from ever playing baseball again, forfeit the balance of their contracts, every stat should be marked with an asterisk, and no one should be admitted into the HOF. Fans should boycot their teams, to punish the owners for looking the other way. Unless the consequences are this harsh, steroids will never stop in baseball.

If you want the truth I respect that, however I don't think we will ever know. The owners knew as well as the players union but this has now become a nation of greed. Want to see good baseball go watch school high school baseball at least they are still playing for the love of the game. Professional sports are all bulls*it now.

I really believe the Players Union will be a huge problem in trying to address all the issues and fix them. The union exists for one reason only and that is to defend the players and only support those issues that benefit the players. There is nothing about drug testing and cooperating with the investigation that benefits the players. Mitchell said himself that he got zero support from the players union or the players during his 20 month investigation. I believe this will be a constant road block in the effort to clean up the game.

The union has fought drug testing every step of the way and the owners chose not to push it too hard . I don't think they can look the other way any longer .
