Aw, you can vent to me if you want? My email is available through my page if you click on my name. Also, consider going to Al-Anon. It's a 12-step program for the families of alcoholics. While it may seem silly that you might go to a 12-step program while he's the one with the problem, it is very helpful because you can form bonds with other people who're going through the same thing as you. If you google Al-Anon, you can find meeting lists in your area.

as what i had experienced, i always go to MIRC chat rooms to just talk to strangers and pour myself out. you can also go to a psychiatry hospital or clinic that deals with alcoholics (they are knowledgeable about the subject) you can also join the al-anon or Alateen in your area. The people who join here have members in the family or friends who are alcoholic (you can search it in the net).and you can also ask your husband to join alcoholics anonymous (with other alcoholics). hope this can help you alot

Hi,
I have never had a member of my family suffer from this disease, but I have suffered from terrible depression and anxiety for a long time. If it is any condolence at all, please know that you are NOT alone in your feelings. I like the answerer who recommended AA meetings...you may find other people who are in your position. Best of luck.

Don't you go to church? Your ecclesiastical leader should be there for you.

It is hard to reason with a junkie of any kind. I am sorry you have to be in such a situation. I pray you can find peace somewhere.

No one wants to hear bullshit, you have to pay a therapist for that stuff, if you really expect an auctual result.
