Can i use tyler as a girls name?

You could, but you run a real risk of her being called "the girl Tyler" to differentiate her from all the boys named Tyler.
There are so many wonderful girls' names, and relatively few that work well for boys and won't get them teased. If a boys' name gets used for enough girls, then it gets the connotation of being a "sissy" name and then boys with the name get teased. That is awful and sexist, but it is reality. So I think it is better not to give boys' names to girls, so the parents of boys have more names to choose from.

There are SO many names now that are used for both boys & girls...I have not heard Tyler used for a girl...but I don't see why not if you like it. It's close to Taylor & Skyler & both of them have been switched to girl names now too.

yea, i remember playing basketball with a girl named tyler. she was from the opposite team but she was very nice. they were our rival team but we got along just great. its a nice name for a girl as well as a guy.
trust me that is a name for both genders. i know a male tyler, and a female tyler.
its cute both ways to me!!

i like it better as a girl name personally. although i have known several male tylers and never a female.

well of course you could but realistically you shouldn't. I think it is a set boys name and not unisex. Girls names for girls, boys names for boys.
