I don't it means nothing to me anymore and just reminds me of what a crappy marriage I am in & what a mistake I made. Not wearing it makes me feel like I am not his property.

Yes I wear THE ring because I can't take it off due to fat finger. I am thinking of having it CUT off. Maybe you and I can give both rings and husbands to W*Jessica*P.

Since I am NOT married (I'm SINGLE .. and an Empty-Nesting Retiree) .. I do NOT have a wedding ring at this time.
Here is a thought -- since you are miserable .. have you tried to find some safe place to get some counseling services (like your church, community group -- therapist or group session)?
It may also be good to 'suggest' to your spouse that he also go with you to attend marriage counseling (call it marriage 'renewal' or sparks if it makes it more interesting to him) so that you BOTH can air some of the issues with the marriage and try to work things out.
Then .. once you have tried .. (and I am not suggesting this for all people) ... maybe think about getting out on your own -- separation could be a GOOD thing (and let you both reflect on the meaning of the marriage).
(and yes, as a Survivor of a Short Disaster of a Marriage to an abusive, violent sociopath -- I can still hear the words he liked to use ... that he saw me as his 'property'. Sadly .. there is still that prejudice out there ... and it is hard to overcome. That is why Divorce Happens .. and why it is so difficult to be a RESPONSIBLE Single and a Parent too).

Since i'm still never maried by my bad luck, i'm not wearing one.
If i were i would be wearing one.
You need to get away fast AM. and if its as true as you say it is all the time, Then you need to get a help and get him away from you!
So get busy and not complain so much

yes I do and I don't ever take it off. Its nothing more then a piece of jewelry to me but I know how hard my husband worked to find it and I love it. And mine doesn't make me feel that way. It makes me proud to be his wife

Nope... I'm really good at loosing stuff and so I don't wear it...
However... I do wear this simple band... but ppl still think I'm single!!!
