My husband and i were talking about baby names the other day,no were not pregnant, but just talking. What do you think about Ember Kaylee, or Madeline? I like Ember becasue we are both firefighters. Any comments or suggestions

I do like Ember....close to Amber which is very popular, but yet enough different to be unique. Kaylee is nice too. I am not as fond of Madeline, maybe because it just seems so old-fashioned, altho I realize old-time names are in fashion now.
Could I suggest a couple other middle names for Ember?
Ember Rae
Ember Dianne
Ember Brooke

I think Ember is way cool , makes it even cooler knowing it has a meaning. I like Ember Kaylee Madeline is a pretty name but it don't fit with Ember (keep Ember) Just don't name her Ember Raiyne lol makes me think of November Rain

I like Ember. Its unique, and it reminds you and your husband of something you do. I don't really think anyone would tease a girl named Ember...most people probably will think it's cool you picked the name to remind you of that. Ember Madeline doesn't even sound that bad, either.

Madeline is one of my favorite names, its really beautiful!
I kinda like Ember, its like a classy Amber. Though I wouldn't put it with Kaylee, the trendy spelling makes the cute first name look bad.

I think Amber is nicer than Ember because of the confusion as she grows up with spelling etc...
Amber Kaylee is very pretty! Now Madeline sucks, sorry! Way too many and a way too cutesy-fluffy name. Its not strong and uncommon like Amber.

I really like Kaylee. the only thing is you cant really get a nickname out of it, and i just have this thing with names. for me it is essential to be able to derive a nickname from it.
e.g. my kids:
alana may - lana/allie
Connor Bradley - Con/Conny
Mia Louise - Mi/Mi-lou =]
I dont like Madeline. reminds me of the book/movie.

I like the name Ember.. its original and I've never heard it before.. I was thinking of Ember Ashley... When my 12 year old was born his first name is Johnathan.. he is the 6th John in our family.. and his middle name is Kelby... I pulled that out of a baby name book and its a uncommon name.. We liked it so much more then Johnathan that since he was 8 months old we have called him by his middle name, Kelby.. he dosnt even anwer to Johnathan.. A funny story.. I was working at a restaurant about 5 years ago.. and I heard this voice keep calling "Kelby" over and over again.. Since ive never heard of anyone having that name before I walked over to the table who was calling the name.. and to my suprise.. this little girl about 2 or 3 came running up to her grandma and grandpa.. Her name was Kelby too.. so I guess it goes either way.. Tho I did think that my husband had brought my son Kelby into the rest and someone was calling "his" name. lol

Ember, would just be weird because you are fire fighters. The baby would get teased. Madeline's a pretty name. Dont get to ahead of yourselves, get pregnant first. But good luck
