we blow up balloons, heaps of balloons, hang them everywhere and after we have eaten all the kids get a toothpick and burst them . i did as a child, my children did, now my grandchildren do. then we have water fights with waterpistols.

You have to get Best Answer that is really out of the ordinary... but I can not give you best answer I will give you a star....
If I could without it being chatting I would asking were you live.....
It sounds like fun and also kinda of cold for Dec. but I guess running around can keep you warm.
I guess for some if maybe a wee bit out of the ordinary we play football it does not matter if it is raining, snowing, hailing,sunny we play football...
You Christmas sounds fun and very different

We celebrate on Christmas Eve, so Christmas day is a day to relax and do nothing. I sure wouldn't want to have a water fight where I live.... the daytime highs are in the low 20's! That does sound like fun though!

this isnt exactly a christmas day tradition its more like eve. We take the matresses off of all of our beds and bring them downstairs by the tv real close to each other we make them up and stay up real late laughing telling storries and eating cookies and drinking eggnog and hot chocolate.
