i did my own, i had a mirror and ladder help me

I do.
I'm the only one who does.
I could force my kids to help but it would be no fun for them, because they're in their teenage years or even adults. It was fun for them when they were little kids but not anymore (so people out there with young kids, enjoy it while it lasts).
The only thing they're willing to do is get the boxes down from the attic.
Families, all together, decorating the tree? I've only seen that in movies, you know those movies with perfect people like with a husband who did not leave his wife for a younger model...
I calculated and found out it takes me about 2 hours to do all the tree and Christmas decorations and about as long to take it all down.
I do not have to do it. If I would not do it, nobody else would and nobody would care. But I like to do it, just for myself, for the nice smell of a pine tree in the house and all those beautiful lights and ornaments.
So I spend a few hours decorating and a few weeks enjoying it.

My daughter who is 13 decorated the tree. She even put it up! Dad wanted to do it, but she said no that she wanted too and it looks really nice. She did a really good job I must say!

My 5 year old grandson and I decorate the tree.
When he goes to bed I strip the tree and do it right.
Every time someone comes in the house he'll ask them if he did a good job on the tree...LOL

No one. Mine stays decorated at all times. When the season is over I just wrap some plastic over it and store it away until next year.

I do....I LOVE decorating for Christmas.....So I put up the tree, put on the lights, string with shiny garland, and hang the ornaments. (Don't worry, I offered to wait if my husband wanted me to, but he lets me do it! :) Then, I string lights along the wall near the ceiling of my living room, hang the stockings, put up my figurines, change over to the snowmen salt and pepper shakers, put a mini seashell Christmas tree on the table, decorate the front door........ :D

This year my daughter and I. My husband and son did the supervising and brought up the decorations.

Me! The kids and husband used to help when they were home, now I decorate and my husband "supervises" from the couch.

Usually we do it as a family but this year my wife & duaghter did it while I was at work. It was a nice surprise.

Hubby does the lights, and i usually do the rest, with him telling me where the empy spaces are!!

My husband always puts on the lights and we both finish it together.
