outer space is where superman came
from and yes we do have the teck to go
there but there are people living on the
moon and mars right now thats not too
far. so i dont see the problem of sending someone.

it is hard to take you seriously, BUT you never know here on YA even in A&S.
because the person they sent would DIE about 30,000 years before he even got CLOSE to a star that MIGHT have life on it.
the closest stars are still VERY far away.
if we could go the speed of light it would still take about 4 years to get there, and we don't even know if there IS life there.

Serious input? Ok... where would we send our Representative? Do you know where the ETs are? How are we going to keep our rep. alive for the journey of tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of years. After all we don't have the capabilities of faster than light travel, or warping time & sapce. Furthermore, how do you proplse we communicate with them? Any Ideas? Based in reality that is.

well for one thing I dont think that Nasa is seeing any ets and secondly who would would want to go meet them anyways,,

simply put it this way... if someday "Superman" decides he wants to be an astronaut, maybe NASA can do what you are trying to say.
