I think it's "hot" when a girl plays sports well, plays a musical instrument, sings well, dances well, or can carry on an intelligent conversation. Any one of these things really get my attention. And when I find a combination of two or more, then I'm really interested.
As far as physical attractiveness goes, I think the face is more important than the body type. Especially the eyes. I don't have just one body type that I'm attracted to, either, so it's more relative to me.

Me and my boyfreind were actually talking about that recently! We concluded that a hot face is considered a "pretty" girl, and a hot body is acceptable to be considered a..."girl with a hot body". But a girl with a pretty face and good body is a true "Hot" girl. As a default though, face is everything. It's like I like spaghetti, but it's covered in bad sauce! If the sauce is good, it makes the ok pasta better! ;)

a hot face is a must....a girl with a hot body and ugly face is known as a butterface, NOT HOT. but i would still think a girl is hot, if he had a hot face, and a decent body

To me a hot girl is a girl with a butt shaped like a Georgia peach , I could care less what the face looks like .

to be hot, she has to be simply hot....
if you think she is hot, she is hot whatever the reason is.
hotness cannot be defined, its in the eyes of the beholder.
I love females that make me think of sex....now thats hot. Can you imagine that, just being around her makes you want to.....

I would say in general it would apply to both face and bod, but more like a 60-40 body to face ratio.
