I have a high risk strand of HPV and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and I don't know if there is any relation between what I am experiencing now.
I have a very think discharge coming out that is very consistant with snot from my nose, it looks just like I have a sinus infection, this leads me to believe that I have some sort of infection. However I was treated for a yeast infection about two months ago and this has been present ever since. Also about the same time I found out I had HPV and I noticed I had some clear bumps on my inner/upper thighs and around my vaginal area. They almost look like zits or cysts. They don't look like warts, but I have no clue what they are. I try to pop them and they bleed very hard.
I have seen that thick mucus like discharge is normal, but normally for only a few days, I have had this for almost two months, and I don't know if this is normal.
Should I go back to the doctor, or should I just get an at home infection treatment?

I was told I had HPV as well when I was 18 - then 6 mos later went back and nothing - and I had the same symptoms. I started taking acidopholis and they went away. I also stayed away from breads and such because of the sugar and yeast friendliness.

You should go to your doctor, since it has been going on so long I think. But also try the other. Maybe it will help you as well.

Don't rely on an over-the-counter treatment, You need to have this identified and treated by your doctor. The sooner the better.
