If you answer this question through a science base of physics, e=mc2, so the person jumping off the top floor of the empire state building would be doing so under controls of mass and the speed of light. If that person were able to concentrate their inner mass in balance with outer forces of energy, then they would maintain a controlled freefall and survive the landing... It's the same physics as basic gravitiational landings.

I would think not, impact would damage too many organs besides just leg damage. it is soooo high up. strange things do happen though. people have lived when parachutes fail to open when sky diving. so I suppose it might be possible. hmmm

it 's sort of like the bug joke- his butt would be the last thing to go through his brain. the in-sursha, of the stopping speed ....would make the rest of the body- continue through the rest of him at that speed.
