I think MEN are more forgiving...They HATE and wanna KILL the man who slept with their wife, but they STILL WANT the woman. Women are like, "OH HELL NO! After ALL I've done for YOU? I'm OUT!!!"=)

I think women are more forgiving (but shouldn't be).
I worked with a guy who constantly cheated on his wife with an ex-girlfriend and hid it from her. I asked how he would feel if the wife cheated on him - he stated that it would be unforgiveable. He said men have been cheating since the beginning of time, and that's just how it is.
I don't think any relationship can be very strong if one person has stepped out on the other. There will always be trust and self-confidence issues, so I say no forgiveness for cheaters ever!

that is fantastically not uncomplicated to forgive whilst somebody you like have an affair. would not remember if that is adult males or women persons. How lots we are able to forgive count lots on the point of love you have on your better half. you could love your husband/spouse extra advantageous than your self. With that quantity of love, you're able to forgive and initiate over. besides the undeniable fact that, if your love is on the sensible point, you desire to to go on with existence. there's a point of tolerance in each and each marriage. there is no way of measuring as we can't degree love. the appropriate suggestion is to stay a common existence.

It depends on the kind of cheating. Statistics show that men are less forgiving if the woman cheats physically, while women are less forgiving if the man cheats emotionally!
I think it's equal; it's just either whoever is more insecure at the moment, or whoever is the bigger person and able to forgive and forget!

Usually there is no forgiveness, but if there is, I think the woman is slightly more likely to be forgiving than the man. Whether the relationship is stronger or weaker probably varies too, but I would guess it is usually weaker.

Hmmm. I'm familiar with this situation. In this case the lady stayed. The situation was worse because of trust issues. I'd say it's about even. Men might find it unforgiveable but women might not be able to take the emotional strain. So it really depends on the person themselves.

Women forgive more readily since we're told all our lives that "boys will be boys" & a "good" man is hard to find. Men are less likely to forgive because deep down inside they think we belong to them and we're damaged goods if we cheat.
I think the relationship suffers because you will always think the worst if they're late, go out with their "friends", or someone dials a wrong number.

The primary relationship will suffer obviously from any affair - but if a man is willing to forgive his wife (and forget!) the affair - it can work out.
But this will never happen in 1 million years!

Women are definitely the dummies in this category.
By the way, there's nothing wrong with forgiving the person. You should forgive him if he's sincerely sorry, but that doesn't mean you should stay in the relationship.

Personally i think that women are more fogiving, because wether we admit it or not all of us women deep down know that when a guy cheats its because of lack of sex or closeness...when a women cheats it because of the lack of comunication and the man himself...it means more when a women cheats...most of the time...im not saying that this is always the case but most of the time it is...so i believe that women are...also if you look on the news and tv shows you see women always going back to there "other' after being physicaly abused as well as mentally abused.

Are you trying to figure out if your better half is going to forgive you for smoking someone else's pole?
If that's the case then men are more forgiving. Hopefully that'll instill some confidence in ya!
