Just after the New Year, I'm travelling 4000 miles, to Germany, to be with him. If he was further away, I'd travel there (although it would probably be too expensive to do often!)
I would move there, except that I wouldnt' be allowed to bring my kids, so he's planning on moving here.

I traveled to Korea with our 10 month old in 1974, and then to Germany with 3 children(ages 2,4,6) in 1979 to live with my military husband.
Of course me moved other places to be with him also. Packed up the household myself both times for those overseas moves and had no one to assist me on the airplane.
He's retired now and stays in one place, which makes me very happy.
