By nature these embryonic cells are "totipotent" , ie given the correct environment they can multiply to form any type of cells and so can be used as a replacement for any type of tissue.De novo production of any tissue is possible.

Embryonic stem cells can be used to artificially make different organs because they have the potential to become different organs which would save a lot of people's life who die before they get an organ transplant.
