Definitely shouldn't be any in the vagina! Around the vaginal area though it's possible for teenagers to get the odd pimple there. It can also be ingrown hairs as a result of shaving. Another option is Fordyce spots, these are very small though and usually on the labia. Then you've got all your STDs like herpes and such, and other skin conditions. I think that's most of the causes.

That's so funny that you ask because I was waiting for my doctor to give me a check up and one of the nurses was talking to someone on the phone about a pimple on her vagina. What's weird is that it sounded like she was talking to the husband about it. She was saying something about trying to bring it out like a normal pimple and that we get pimples everyone from our faces, backs, legs and even done there.

Sounds normal, but I haven't had any...

I do get once in a blue moon an ingrown hair on my bikini line when I shave. I should switch to waxing.

By the way I was at the OBGYN because I'm expecting!

Pimples on your vagina is not a good sign. If you have been sleeping with people without protection, go to your doctor immediately before your infection gets worse.

Yes, not often, but it has happened. If it is more like acne or a lot then you want to see the doctor. It it is now and then - and mainly on the outter sides... then yes I think it is normal.

You can totally get pimples down there--if you have alot (it looks kind of like acne), then it is something to worry about. If its just one or two, just be sure to get really clean down there!

Also, it something to worry about if they're on the INSIDE. I've had them outside, but inside, I would be worried.

They are common.
As a result of urinal infections, STDs, poor hygiene. and Menstruation can also cause them.
