I wrote to them about my daughters anorexia and our hell life for the past year. The inability to find good treatment in this area, or even a therapist that specializes in it. The financial abyss that our family has been placed in due to this problem.
Anyway, I got an e-mail from one of their researchers asking for more information and if we were all willing to be on the show. They wanted pictures and all sorts of stuff. Do you think I really have a shot at getting my daughter help on this show? Or is this just something they do with everyone who writes in?
I don't want to get my hopes up. I have gotten them up so often in the past, when she seemed to be getting better and then only to have them dashed. Should I get my hopes up? Do I have a chance?

Thank you for the encouragement. I really want this more than anything. I have tried so hard to get her help this past year and nothing has seemed to work. I want her to go to an out of state (we don't have any good ones here) treatment center. She is 13 and I know it has to be stopped now or it will only take a deeper hold on her. I only have one daughter and it seems I am loosing her to Anna (short of anorexia). I so want my daughter back. I can't even sleep tonight because I am hopeful and scared at the same time that maybe this is just another dead end. Thanks again for the words of encouragement.
