I have to go to a wedding tomorrow and I'm a little limited on clothing to wear.I dont want to buy anything new with Christmas coming up.I have this dress I like but my best friend just told me it looks like something one of the Golden Girls would wear.So 2 questions will I look like my Grandma in this? Also the shoes I would like to wear are black suede high heels with an ankle strap..Do you think black shoes would work with this?

lol. I guess I don't have much taste.Of course I wear jeans and a t-shirt nearly everyday so I should have known I couldn't be trusted to pick my own clothes.

I think its cute!!!! I like the flowery print and go with the black suede high hells, that will make it really pop!

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to agree with your friend, it does look grandma-ish. And black shoes would look horrible with that. White would look better. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a cute dress you can always go to Target. The have awesome dresses at cheap prices.

I'd ditch the dress! And definitely don't wear black shoes with a dress like that! You need light shoes like white or pink to match the dress. You could wear something black and accessorize with a red belt, and that way you could also wear the black shoes.

the dress is cute but its more for a garden party kind of thing, i don't think that it would be appropriate to wear to a formal wedding. if you do decide to wear the dress anyway, i don't suggest you wear the black heels, they wouldn't match. try going to discount stores, I'm sure you can find a cute dress at a low price. good luck :)

to tell you the truth it looks like it maybe a summer dress... black shoes might look a little odd because the dress has pastel colors. you should wear a black dress or even a more Christmas(y) dress.

It depends on how it fits you and where the length falls. That'll determine if it looks grandma.
As for shoes, I'd never wear black with it. It's too light and pastel colored. Aim for a nude or tan-colored heel.

umm no its a grandma dress im sure u can find a cheap cute dress or skirt somwhere else but i wouldnt wear it

depends how you wear it. i would go with gold shoes and a gold clutch, with your hair pulled back, no eye makeup but some pink lipstick.
depends how old you are too.
but yeah i would go with gold. it would look heaps better.
