I was called an idiot about it, but looks like I was right. Brian Mcnamee hooked clemens up with roids in 97, and viola! he wins two straight triple crowns.

Brett - The report actually suggests 1998, 2000, and 2001. I assumed 97 because that's when Clemens started working with mcnamee.

I saw it mention only 1998, however, that's where the trace began, both 97 and 98 were significantly more productive than 96, so logically, it's a good place to start, however the report only suggests 98.

Yet in all his games batting in interleague play or with the Astros, he still hasn't hit a single home run. (And it's not for lack of power -- Clemens stands 6'4" and has always been an ox.)

He was only implicated. Just because it's in the report doesn't make it a fact. He's not any more guilty now than he was when he was implicated a few months ago. Most of the report is second hand information.
