aia s you have no clue what your talking about. I just started taking birth control about 2 weeks ago and if you miss one day your supposed to take 2 the next day but never take more then that for example if u forget 2 days in a row DO NOT TAKE 3 you need to call ur gyn or wherever u got u birth control. i just did the same thing it sux cuz i forgot to take it so now i have my period and thats supposed to happen. if you took the 2 pills the next day thats right just keep taking it regularly now and try not to forget to take it anymore.

Don't listen to AIA.

You need to read the pamphlet that came with your pack! Or talk to your pharmacist or doctor, or google your pill online.

MY pack tells me to take the pill as soon as I remember, then take the next one at the usual time.

Therefore, what you did was ok, though you should have taken it as soon as you remembered.

Sometimes taking two like that will cause your body to have cramps, so don't worry too much about it. Just don't forget your pill again :)

You're supposed to take it as soon as you remember.

Anyway, is this your first time on BC? If so, bleeding is normal. It could just be breakthrough bleeding. You're body could just be getting used to the BC. You're fine, as long as you didn't have unprotected sex.

You're not supposed to take two. That's too many hormones. Don't take advice from sisters and junk! READ LABELS. And visit the website of your birth control product, they have all that information. USUALLY, you just start taking the regular dosage again. Never, ever overdose on hormones (which is what birth control is). Just don't. But again, go to the website. Never, ever play around with medication without getting the information directly from a physician or official documents.
