If you have an anti-virus, I suggest you make sure it has the latest virus definitions and run it. If you don’t have one, many people here swear by AVG (it’s free).

I also suggest you download Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D (they’re free), install them, update them and run them. If any of the above doesn’t seem to be able to get rid of everything it reports finding, try running it again, this time in Safe Mode. Safe Mode often prevents the malware from running and protecting itself.

Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.

To get into Safe Mode:

1. Log out and reboot your machine.
2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.
4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. Log in as Administrator. Administrator often has no password.
5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.

Update and run them all regularly.

Good luck.

Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer is a malicious Trojan that distributes rogue anti-spyware programs such as IEDefender. Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer infects and bombards your computer with deceptive warning messages which trick you into buying a full version of IEDefender. Once you’ve received the first message it is difficult to make the Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer fake error messages to go away.

A clear sign that you’re infected with Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer is when your browser has been hijacked and an error message with a fake **** video is displayed within the search results of Google.

You should remove Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer with a legitimate anti-spyware program not with IEDefender. Try using SmitfraudFix, it's free, if this doesn't work, then pay to remove Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer.

google "trojan.win32.linkreplaced". or let your virus protector remove it, if it has the ability. Sometimes you may have to follow the instructions for removing it as some virus scanners do not implement removal. You get the instructions from the links returned when googling the virus.

are you sure its not just some sort of pop up. Sometime if you have spyware or have no pop up blocker these will come up saying you have a dangerous virus on your computer and need to purchase this software to get rid of it. If it is you don't have a virus on your computer but their may be spyware on their that you'll have to get rid of.

If you have virus scanning software and it's giving you this message, then try to run a scan and get it deleted.

This may be a teaser ad to try and make you buy an anti-virus program. If you already have one, and a scan doesn't pick it up. turn on your pop-up blocker. Whatever you do DON"T buy the program they offer you--chances are it is embedded with spyware.
