I am positive I need to be on antidepressants but I dont have health insurance or a regular doctor. I also heard that you have to go to a therapist to get them prescribed? I really cant afford to go to the doctor or a shrink! Is the any place I can go to and not have to pay...like the health department maybe? I live in the US by the way. Thank you

your local health department should be able to assist you with low cost to no cost care, there may also be a couple of free health care clinics in you area, check your local telephone directory, or call social services, for other options they also maybe offering free clinical research trials in your area, these services will often pay participates to try new medications check those out as well. never get discouraged when seeking treatment finding the right medication that fits you is a process, so be patient and never give up and never give in. good luck.

Enroll into a community college that has health care for students. They might be able to proscribe you some for a low cost.
