I think everybody loves raymond is the greatest sitcom ever.
Here is why:
It is very true to life.
Everyone can identify with one of the characters on the show.
It's writing and plotlines were always very creative.
The whole family could sit and watch about every episode without worrying about being assaulted with obscenity.
