i have a nc6000 laptop and i want to completely recover it. I have a bad virus and the only way to get rid of it is to recover my computer

go to the manufactures support web site and download the manual for your computer... there may be a hidden partition on the system from where you can reinstall windows...

Contact Compaq and they will send you the restore disks for a nominal fee, in most cases.

i tink you cna press F2 when u start up your notebook,its for Hp to recover
