Get some paper and start writing, do not lift your pen from the page until you have an "ah-hah" moment. You can start writing about anything, even just what you did today, if you just write and don't stop to think, surprising things come out.
Make a list of pros and cons
Talk to people you are close to and trust
Talk to people who've made the same decision and how they decided, how they felt about it in hindsight
Go to the library and get books about what you are trying to decide on.
Start a journal

The pros and cons idea is good. Don't forget to figure in your feelings on the matter. Sometimes we just think with our heads or just our heart. Both are equally important. You can do something that seems right on paper, but will turn out to be wrong. If you are spiritual, pray for guidance and make sure you are open enough to listen.
Good luck!

Speak out loud as if someone else is in the room. When you talk comfortably about the future projection of what would happen if you made decision #1 you will notice a rise and fall in your voice. Get in tune with the level of confidence you are feeling when speaking and you will see clear exactly where your heart is....PS it works betteer if you talk to god

If it is life changing for the better, then make up your mind and go for it. Do what ever it takes to follow through. If it is life changing for the wrong reasons, find something good to do instead.

I write. I just sit and write about the subject and soon enough I come to a decision. I have done this a lot of times and find it is very therapeutic.

Think of someone that you have trusted, even if they have since died. Think about what they would tell you to do under the circumstances and be guided by that.
I think of my father who passed on thirty years ago. He always gave me good advice and I know just what he would say to me in certain cincumstances , even if I did not want to hear it at the time. Try this and Good Luck
