My cousin, who feels more like a sister, is having a baby around the begininng of March. We found out today it's a girl, and I get to name her.
It isn't absolute yet, but at the moment I was thinking of Mallory Celeste.
What do you think?

I like it. Mallory is a pretty name and so is Celeste.

Mallory is a nice name but Mallory Celeste just doesn't go good together. But I do have some ideas for middle names for Mallory:

Mallory reminds me of the old tv show 'Family Ties'. I really liked that show when I was a kid, lol!
However I don't like the name Mallory for this day and age anymore. Celeste is pretty cute but I would use something more like
Amara Celeste
Mahlia Celeste
Alannah Celeste

I do not like Celeste. Although it reminds me of the "Celestial City" and it sounds elegant, it rings too close to "molest" and that probably sounds like I am some creep but really I just am giving my honest opinion, what you asked for. Even though a name sounds pretty to some, to others it could help them create a horrible nickname or something on the playground.
Mallory, I am unsure about. I haven't heard it for a long time, but I think I like it.
Some of my suggestions are Mallory Elizabeth, Mallory Grace. Other names for Celeste could be: Cela, Celine, Celina, Celestia, or Celesse (could be spelled with S's too instead of a C).

I like Celeste as a 2nd name but not so crazy about Mallory. It's kind of harsh.

I like mallory but i think celeste might be a little confusing for some people to pronounce if you have never seen that name before you may want to pronounce it cel es te... but I do know a celeste and i think it is a very pretty name. mallory is very pretty!

Mallory Celeste is BEAUTIFUL! Mallory is such a nice, refeshing name (though I'm biased) and Celeste is very nice also. Congratulations to your cousin! :)

i like Mallory... to bring it up-to-date try spelling it mallorie or with just Malory just a thought .. Celeste is Ok .. I am picking baby names right now also and that one to me just don't roll off very good...
