I was posting a comment on a website then the webmistress just wrongfully bashed me for some odd reason by saying, "Kristin M.(me), talo, Stuck & Stitch, who are you trying to fool here? posting under different nicknames with the same ip… god your f***ing pathetic.". What is she talking about when she says "IP"?

I haven't been doing anything different than what I always do. My laptop is my own in my house, I'm never on a public computer, no one else uses it, so nothing would or should change.

IP (address) is being referred to, However MANY users CAN have same "aparent" IP address, for example if I use this machine and my wife uses her laptop online at same time, we have same "external" IP that websites see, as that is determined byt the router linking us to the outsite world.

It could be that you are on a "shared" connection, via a school / college / business and EBERYONE in the building gets the same external IP address. So ignore them, or possibly politely point out this issue

IP is the address of your computer on the internet. Websites can regonize it and block certain IPs. IPs identify your country, city and other certain things about your computer. If you are having trouble with your IP address get an IP address masker.
