Ditto...I think you should ask your doc....
I know was told with both of my kids that sex can make you go into labor when dialated.
I would be cautious so you don't go into labor early, although we are all different, I would not take the chance until you have talked to your doc..
God Bless!

do not verify your individual cervix for dilation. palms are crammed with germs and each sort of bacterias. you do not opt to possibility an infection on your toddler via checking your self. so a tactics as visualizing how massive a million cm, 2 cm, and so on is... seize your self a ruler. One facet is in inches and the different is in cm. this delivers you a appropriate theory on how massive dilations are.

After many many years of personal studying, 2 years as a pre-med student, and a mom myself.... I am comfortable in saying that unless your Dr. advises you otherwise sex is completely fine during all stages of pregnancy as long as you and your partner are up for it. Many people swear that it helps to induce labor and it very well could considering that orgasm and contractions use the same muscles and similar use of the muscles. Good luck!

Personally I wouldn't. But its always best to just ask your doctor. 7 months is too soon to give birth...your baby would be premature. I just would avoid any intercourse since you are dilated. To me it would be just too risky. Good luck.

Im 7 months as well... sounds like it could be risky, I would ask your Doc and see what she says but normally they tell you if they want you to stop

You need to ask your doctor. My son was born at 29 weeks and almost died, so if you are already dilating you need to not have sex until you have your next appointment.

Yes. The only time you should abstain from sex during pregnancy is if your health care provider has told you to, or if your water has broken/possibly broken.

i have to agree w/ others that if you are dilated this early sex may bring on labor (some it does, some it doesn't). call and ask your dr or nurse.
