One of my friends thinks that she may be pregnant but she is still having a normal period. Is this possible? She also wants to know if she is between 4 & 5 months, is it still possible that she can suck in her stomach? she got a physical about a month ago and got a blood test done. if she was pregnant, wouldnt they have found out then?

Her blood work may not have tested for hormones.. but I think it would be clear if she were pregnant. Common symptoms are nausea/vomiting in the beginning, sore breasts, and general tiredness. You can't "suck in" a baby bump. You can flex your abs but it won't hide the bump. She can buy a pregnancy test from the drug store.

Yeah, if they did a physical with blood work and it didn't come up with a positive pregnancy test then she probably isn't pregnant. It is very rare to have a period and be pregnant anyway.

PS: To all the parents out there answering this question...Doesn't it scare you to know that the school system teaches our children nothing about sex, protection, or consequences?

If she's having a normal period each month she isn't pregnant. When you get your period you shed your uterus lining. If you shed your uterus lining when pregnant it means you've miscarried. However, a woman can have normal pregnancy bleeding LIKE a period her whole pregnancy.
Was the blood work to check her hcg levels? Because the only time hcg levels are checked during blood work is if the doctor orders it.
