Alexander Hamilton is considered the father of the
New York Stock Exchange. Alexander wanted a strong
central government ,and Alexander wanted to see the
rise of large corporations. Thomas Jefferson, on the other
hand, wanted a weak central government, strong state
governments, and an agrarian Republic. In 1877,the
Industrial Revolution was in the nascent stage in the United
States, and our Republic had a stronger central government
in 1877 due to the Civil War. In 1877,Alexander Hamilton's
vision was closer to reality in the United States.

Hamilton believed in a stronger, more central, government. Thomas Jefferson, on the other hand, had an agrarian an rather largely rural democracy as his vision for the country. Hamilton s vision for the country was closer to reality by the end of the Reconstruction era in 1877; the dominance of a central government was proved by the union winning the Civil War, and by having one currency serve the whole country.

Hamilton believed in a strong central government while Jefferson had, as an ideal, an agrarian and largely rural democracy ( with the government being drastically changed every 20 years ). By the end of Reconstruction, the dominance of a central government had been demonstrated by the Union's winning of the Civil War and with one currency serving the entire nation.
