I do not think it is ethical to clone humans at this time. These are my reasons:

1. The human population is already too large.
2. The cloning process is still imperfect and it results in many malformed clones; a result that isn't widely published, obviously.
3. Many unethical reasons for cloning humans exist, including producing clones for replacement tissues and organs. These reasons do not acknowledge the very real humanity of clones.
4. Our technology gets ahead of our ability to make good decisions about the wise use of that technology. We learn to run before we understand that we shouldn't run out into the street.

No.

Modern cloning technology uses old DNA from an existing somatic cells. This DNA is damaged, so the clone would have a short lifespan full of complications.
