Conservatives (or neo-cons) don't think Dems are weak on terrorism. They want YOU to think that Dems are weak on terrorism. That way you won't vote Dem. Generally speaking, the Democratic Party represents the masses, while the Republican Party stands up for the rich and corporations. In order to get people to vote against their own self-interest, the Republicans have to come up with divisive issues like these.

Obama's election marketing campaign promise grew to become into to make the alterations necessary and that it grew to become into no longer likely to be consumer-friendly. The "status quo" has lots income at stake on the rate of the middle type that there is not any longer something they gained't do to dam any and all alterations. Can anybody forget approximately that the Republicans demanded alterations to the Stimulus bill interior the pretense that they might then provide their help? And the compromises they demanded have been a "bait and turn" tactic and all yet 3 Republicans nonetheless voted NO? If the well being Care Reform is defeated this time around there will be outcomes lots greater severe then what surpassed off interior the ninety's. And the GOP won't get away the offended backlash from people who go through those unfavorable outcomes. electorate overcame the phobia methods used interior the election and that i'm hoping they see during the phobia methods as quickly as returned. Umm..hello..Bill Clinton was the one that called off the assasination attempt on Osama, when the CIA had a clear sniper shot on him...if it wasen't for him 9/11 wouldn't have happened or at least not at the hands of Osama..and I hate Clinton for the simple fact that he let our Rangers go into Somalia and get shot up just to pull them out the next day. He was controlled by opinion polls...so basically he had no balls.

No, they already found that. I am not here to defend either party. . They (both Dems and Reps) caused this mess by trying to control the world like they do us. Well someone finally got pissed enough to do something about it = 9/11. Wish people in this country had the courage and brains to at least vote for a third party candidate. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Because when anyone asks them what they would do about terrorism they say:

We'd just talk to them. We'd use diplomacy. Ya know, just a nice quiet fire side chat sipping cappuccinos and roasting marshmallows.

God forbid if we left Iraq, everyone knows overrun countries are a spawning pool for terrorists. All the liberals seem to be isolationists.

The Republicans are going to oppose anything the Dems propose and vise versa. That's why we need proportional representation and a true multi-party system.

Because they are? There was a world trade center bombing by Al-Qaeda under Clinton's watch as well as Al-Qaeda attacks on our embassies in Africa. Didn't Clinton respond by bombing an abandoned baby-formula factory or something?
