How about an apron for cooking that says kiss the chef or a subcription to his favorite mag. or newspaper?

If he's getting an ipod from your mom get him a gift card to Itunes. Golf Balls are a good gift for a golfer too. You can never have too many nice golf balls. Maybe an apron for when he's cooking breakfast.

Get a Scrabble game set, and spell out words that are about him and link them all together. When you like the look of it, glue the letters down and then put picture wire on the back so he can hang it up. Also, write him a card about what a great dad he is, and that will be his best gift ever.

Get him a nice tray of either Top Flight, or Titalist golf balls. A golfer can never have too many golf balls. They get lost easily. You might want to throw in a few tee's along with them.

Get him the Rachel Ray Knives (or some more nice kinves) and a set of pots and pans.
Or some cookbooks. I suggest the Rachel Ray cookbooks. The are meals that are cheap to make, very hearty, and can be made in 30 minutes or less.

even though he isn't a handyman, men love tools. a hardware store to a man is like a candy store to a child. i recommend going to the hardware store, speak to a sales rep and ask him/her to help you find something for your dad there that is within your budget. You can find many good hardware items for a very small cost. according to my dad, he could never have too many tools.... hope this helps

Ask him what kinds of things he likes or what is his favorite sport. There are blankets and jackets, etc. for many pro sports teams. It's better to ask than to get something he doesn't like.

What does he like to do? Get something like a book about it or a gift card for a store that sells things for people who like that.

Maybe find an online store that sells personalized golf balls? You could get his name printed on some.
