that annoying "is" bothered every1!!!
they changed that today FINALLY!!
when u change ur status, u can take the is out and write whatever u want!

Facebook just made that change today. "Is" still shows up automatically, but it's text that can be removed now.

It was just changed recently just hit backspace to delete it. Hope this helps. :)

Facebook no longer requires "is", as of today.
