Lets say they are real and they do exist. Or lets say the are not real and they do not exist.
What makes anyone of the above answerers an expert to say if they do or if they do not exist.
Even if they are like in the movies, nobody will ever see them cause even in the movies they appear as having a network of assistants and henchmen that prevent them from being found.
And when i see things like "THEY ARE EVIL", or "STAY AWAY FROM THE OCCULT" i cant help but think of a saying they have back at my village: Half knowledge is much worse than no knoweldege.
Evil? Occult? Do some homework ppl and see what evil really means. As for occult, I wont even bother to tell you to do some homework. You will probably go to google and type occult....
Anyway, to answer this question. If you believe in Aliens, Elves, Ghosts, Pixies, Santa Clauss, God, World Peace or whatever other thing/being there is a dispute about the possibility of its existence you can certainly believe in Vampires as well.
And you dont sound crazy.
Just for a P.S., did you know that The Force (yes the one from Star Wars) almost made it into becoming a true religion?? It was just a few believers short.
Anyway. If you want to search for something like this, Y!A is definetely NOT the best place to do it. subjectivity seems to be stuck in the code oh this site.

Jen, while there is a very rare mental condition that forces a person to thirst for blood, vampires are not real.

Yes and no. Yes, people do drink blood. No - the kinds that don't show up in mirrors, turn into bats, etc.. don't exist.
DON'T DO IT! Stay AWAY! I have had experience with them and they are truly disturbed people. In essence they are committing blood sacrifices and they become enslaved to EVIL. Evil Spiritual Power is released when this happens and only BAD can come from it. Like attempted murder in the people I knew.

sorta KINDA. The ones who turn into bats don't exist..and the ones who go around in the night biting people's necks..but there are some people who do drink blood and such..

vampires are only a product of imagination. some may say that they are real. i have read of stories about vampires so realistic i almost fell for it. when one has a bloodlust, that doesn't mean that they already are vampires.

Not like you see in t.v. or in the movies. There are vampire bats but they are small and feed on animals like cattle and dont turn into a person who sucks your blood. sorry, and you dont sound crazy.
