I like Elijah Lyric if you want Elijah for a first name . . . you can always call him Eli.

BUT! I do like Lyric Eli as the reverse.

I'm not too keen on the names Lyric, Elijah or Eli, personally.

However of you like these then I strongly recommend Elijah Lyric, it has the nicest flow. Plus being named Lyric could earn some torture from asinine people who don't see it like you do, if you like a lot, put it in the middle. Also, because you like both Elijah and Eli if you use Elijah you could call him either.

The best of the bunch is Elijah Lyric. I do like Lyric and its originality but I thought that it was for a girl before I read the question. As a middle name it's great. As a first name I would be concerned that it could be taken as feminine.

My honest opinion: I would not name my kid Lyric, not even as a middle name. But I do like the uniqueness you have chosen. I like Elijah a lot too. I would say Elijah Lyric would be the best choice if you want to stick with Lyric. Some of my ideas that seem like yours are Elijah Linus or Elijah Liberty? Congratulations on your new baby! Hope everything goes well for you.

Lyric feels unisex. It is determined by the person - a few men and women consider Jordan and Alex are strictly feminine or male, a few discover them unisex. It relatively is determined by the spelling and pronunciation besides. Joseph or Josephine, Taylor (unisex, however the masculnie would even be Tyler), stuff like that... Lyric would cross both approach. It's as much as you, relatively, however I'd say lyric might paintings for both one. Also, Jamie and Madison ARE truthfully unisex. There are many girls and boys named Jamie, and Madison has discovered its approach right into a specially female use, despite the fact that it nonetheless is once in a while used for men. Many names will also be unisex through the years. It's the twenty first century, finally.

I love the name Lyric! If you like it that is all that matters. I dont think it is feminine, it could go either way. However, I dont think it flows very well with Elijah or Eli as a middle name. Sorry dont have any suggestions though. Dont worry his name will come to you in time and when it does you will know it is the perfect choice!

Ummm, I would scrap Lyric or at best only use it as a middle name.

I really love the name Elijah (my daughter is Eliza!) or Elias. I suppose Elijah Lyric or Elias Lyric isn't too bad but don't use it for a first name. Its just not very masculine and grown up when he is 25 and dating, getting a job.....

Eli / Elijah - good for the boy... no Lyric for boys (for girls... a 50/50).

Lyric certainly has been used for girls. If you name your boy such - Id say use it as his middle name. He'll more likely use it as a nick-name shortened to Ly or Ric anyway.

Do consider the meaning of the names you choose - traditionally, a person's name develops their character.
