Ever heard the story about the man who lost his keys at night, in the middle of the block where the sidewalk was darkest? He searched for the keys under the streetlamp because the light gave him a better chance of finding them.
That's Mitchell. Despite his charter and purview granted by the commissioner, he had very little real investigative authority, no subpoena power. He had to search where the light was best even if the tastiest fallen pecans were hiding in the darkness, and in this case the light was the few clubhouse insiders and trainers whom he could convince/coerce/strongarm into cooperating. There is NO WAY he could have found every 'roider because he didn't have enough streetlights.

I still think he was definitely on steroids. Mitchell's report does not even contain close to all of the players that were using. He probably did not have the evidence against Sosa.
There is no question in my mind that Sosa was on steroids.

I'll tell you who I am most shocked was not named.
NOLAN RYAN
That's right, I mean look at the durability there. Over decades of perfection, and he played on the Rangers where Rafael Palmeiro, Jose Canseco, Juan Gonzales, Sammy Sosa, Ivan Rodriguez all played during their careers.

Just wait for the second one to come out... i hear it's called the Chamber of Roid Secrets.
He's not in it because he declined to talk with Mitchell. Same with McGwire and Sheffield and some others.

Actually I'm not surprised, maybe Sosa just cheated his way into the record books with that corked bat of his. Well, if you're gonna cheat, at least don't mess up your body with roids! lol

Not at all. He said he took Flintstone vitamins and used a corked bat for the fans (to put on a show during batting practice). I believed him...and I throw out my back sneezing all the time.

No! This report was based on a paper trail cancelled checks and who was willing to squeel to this investigation. He might have been smart enough to not order them in his name. have someone else purchase them. And nobody might not have felt like squeeling.

There are two current brewers listed (Gagne and Turnbow) and many former Brewers...just like many former yankees...many of these guys listed played for alot of teams.
