when my cat sleeps..he leaves his eyes open but this white thing comes from the corner of his eye and covers his eye balls...kinda looks like when people do that thing with there eyes to try to freak you out where all you can see is white..

No. Cats have an extra eyelid that humans don't. Usually when they're getting sleepy you can see it on the corners of their eyes. Your cat's just being lazy and not closing his outer eyelid (which sounds a little weird, but if he doesn't appear sick, I doubt there's much of a problem with it, as long as his eyes are getting the moisture they need).

Now if you could ALWAYS see the white, even when he was awake, that might indicate a problem you'd need to have a vet check out for you.

Nope, that's just an inner eye lid they have. Keep in mind cats eyes are very different from ours, they need an extra layer of protection when closed as if they lose their sight, they lose a very vital part of them surviving. Perfectly normal. Sleeping with it's eyes open is a little odd but it happens. Nothing to worry about.

Noooo, thats her/his super spy shield that they use to throw the mice off. The mice think the cats sleeping and won't notice 'em....but then when the time is right...the cat pounces and BAM! the mouse becomes dinner.....

Pretty sneaky little buggers aren't they?

EWW!!! I HATE when they do that. And no, your cat is not posessed. Maybe a little crazy at times; especially under the influence of the 'nip!!!

No, it is not possessed. My cousin sleeps like that. Nothing wrong with her even though it's freaky.

Nah, it's just the inner eyelid. I think it's kind of cool.
