Yes I did I alway checked under my bed and behind doors. I had 3 really big bunny rabbits I kept in the back of my really big back yard. My father knew I was affraid of the dark and if I forgot to feedthem in the day light I had to hike back there at night and he would hide out to scare me this help me get over the scaredness. When he would jump out of a bush I was at first reallyu scared but fear is only ignorance, once you are inlightened you fear of the subject is gone.Later I was a real night owl out in the back yard well into the night. and even camping out there

The boogie/boogy man was never a concern of mine when I was younger. The only thing I was worried about was Chucky. That stupid doll terrified me to tears many nights. Lucky for me my older brother took care of me. He told me that if I hid under the covers absolutely nothing could get me ... not even Chucky. Thanks to him I got over my fear of that stupid doll and all of his crazy antics. I think the fact that the movies he was in started to get really pathetic helped me laugh at him instead of fear him.

I heard the boogie man lived under my bed, like most other kids...but the thing was that I had a day bed which had another bed under it, so unless the boogie man was seriously anorexic he couldn't have fit. No worries for me in that department!

I believed in some sort of boogie man, but never the tooth fairy, santa, easter bunny or any other make believe stretch of the imagination. i've always been a realist. kids these days already dream too much.

yes i did. in fact me and a cousin saw the boogy man in our up stairs and were scared all nite. its funny to think about back then in the 50's and 60's but then it was a simplier time and things were so easy to imagine. there are still trolls under the bridge and things like that. also yetti or whatever you tend to call him some people see him still and in the north west. its in michigan also and called so many things like big foot or whatever. take care.

Yes I did. Although mine was Mr. Rabbit. My aunt and her boyfriend got tired of us girls always wanting to go with them and they wanted some alone time. So they took us back a dirt road. They were telling us they were going to take us to meet Mr. Rabbit. So stopped the car and we all got out. So as we are walking through the path. They said he was white and very tall. Then start talking about how they hope Mr. Rabbit is in a good mood. We said why. She said he sometimes eats kids when he is in bad mood because they are so nebby and smelly. hehe There were 3 girls , me and my cousins. We ran back to the car and were screaming we jumped in and my one cousin said. I drive this thing if I have too. We were around 8,9, or 10 years old. We were scared but it wasn't as bad as it sounds. We still laugh about it to this day.

No, but my dad told me I was born in the zoo and I believed him and now I'm forever scared of monkeys. (He told me my real parents were monkeys. No, I do not look a monkey)

Also I was always scared to walk up the stairs at night because there might be "bad guys" and posters with people scared me because I thought the people were staring at me.
