Who knows, that's interesting. In past wars the government put out all kinds of misinformation to confuse the enemy. We the public only find out after the war is over, and that could be a long time.

I even heard the nude photos in Iraq were all just staged as well. This was to but fear into Muslim sensibilities and encourage them not to surrender so we could just kill them in battle when they refuse to surrender. Because if we take them prisoner we have to eventually let them go and they will just come back again.

You just never know. War is hell and don't expect to get any real information about what is going on. And that is the truth. Anyone that thinks they are getting real information is just gullible, don’t believe any of it. It’s all war propaganda for enemy consumption.

It exists but Gitmo (within the naval base) was closed. Dignitaries that have actually visited there have a completely different version of what life is like for the prisoners then the press and UN (without so much as a visit) have stated however. Prisoner’s average weight gain is about 20 pounds, they have recreational facilities, places to pray that are off limits to guards, Korans are handled with tools so as not to offend the prisoners by touching the Korans, etc. There have been problems, of course, with interrogations techniques that were suddenly changed from acceptable to "torture" despite no physical or mental damage and some outright abuses, but in general, the prisoners are well treated.

The 1934 treaty with Cuba gave the U.S. a everlasting hire to the bottom for "$two,000 in U.S. gold cash" (or identical) in step with yr. After the Cuban Revolution of 1959, the U.S. persisted to ship cost, and in view that of a few confusion in Castro's new executive, they cashed the primary examine. The U.S. claims that that is their recognition of the 1934 treaty, and so they retain to ship cost each and every yr, even though Cuba has now not cashed any longer exams. The jail camp is contained at the base the U.S. has there, and the Cuban executive has no jurisdiction over the problem.

Pictures and personal accounts from politicians, Lawyers, and military personnel are proof positive. You be the judge of the whole thing for yourself. According to the president the plan is working no terrorist has done a damn thing from the time the presidents administration has put them there. The big question is it American soil if it our military base?
