We have about 18 more days in 2007. Was this a rough year for you or a peaceful one? That is, in regard to finances, kids, possessions, health, deaths, etc.

I expect to trust God more, be more patient, and to not question why things happen when they do, or when things will happen that I'm waiting for. This was a rough year for me because I questioned God too much, and all it got me was heart-ache, stress and sorrows because of my impatience. If I had let things alone, the outcome would have been the same -- and I would have been happier in the long run. Whatever will be, will be.

Blue skies you have summed up exactly what I would like to see happen in 2008. I also want to take better care of myself so I can help others more.
I had a rough year, in that my son married in July and my daughter married in Nov. so it was hectic and stressful for me. I am happy for both of them with some trepidation. I trust God with these marriages and again I hope to just give it to him and let him handle it like Ski says. I'd be a lot better off and the outcome would be the same.

I reckon I will say that I have been blessed this year because my husband finally started the career he has been wanting to do! Even though we have been in and out of one family members house after another and trying to be able to buy a house of our own, we have a wonderful and healthy son! And we are surrounded by love!
As for next year, I hope to be settling in a new house and hope that my husbands career as a truck driver gets better! I guess what I mean is that I hope that I can get past missing him so much through the week!

I take it one day at a time and with as few sceduled daily goals as possible.

Why? Because I have plenty of people scheduling my day for me, there's no need for me to even attempt it! All I have to do is get up in the morning. Bingo! the requests, tasks and schedule just fall into place!

The only way I keep any sanity is to make everyone aware of priorities. My 97 yr. old mom comes first, hubby is next, 1 yr old granddaughter I babysit is next.........then the two daughters and two sons-in-law.

It's been a good year. I guess I can't complain if next year is a repeat.

This was a very rough year for me but I am sure many people have had it worse, I have food in my belly sometimes too much a roof over my head, a job and good family and my faith in God so maybe it wasn't too bad. I am hoping in 2008 to get a year older and hopefully wiser.

I hope the new puppet in the White House brings everyone back from Iraq and Afganistan. I hope the new puppet also voids all the Presidential Pardons that G.W writes !
