I've got a pet rock. And I named him "Rock".

I thought that was very inventive of me to come up with such an unusual & unique name!

I have three pets.

My Rat Terrier already had a name when I got him from my brother and he made me promise to keep his name. Swivel. But he named him that because of the way he ran when he was a baby.

My border collie/golden retriever is Sparky. We named him that for two reasons. One, he is a light red and white color, like sparks and two, he didn't have any spark to him at all when we first got him. Poor thing was only 7 months old and had been nothing abused. Now he's a very happy almost 3 year old dog that has plenty of spark to him.

Our guinea pig is Jr. We called him Sparky Jr. for a while because he has almost the same exact markings as our dog does. And later on we dropped the Sparky and just called him Jr.

My pets name is Symba. It had a name tag on it when we found it abandoned in California last winter. It is a Pomeranian and we absolutely love it. I just can't imagine how someone could give up a beautiful dog like him. I would have taken him to a shelter where he would have certainly been adopten immediately!
