I just had my period but i've read that some people still have their period when they are pregnant.. is that rare though?
Also sometimes with my pill i forget to take it at 7am but i still take it within the 12 hour limit..
I've heard that if you are pregnant and if you continue to take the pill you cna have a miscarriage..
i've been off my period for about a week now but i'm still afraid that i might still be pregnant even though i've had no signs.. any signs i should look out for?

With the pill i'd forgotten to take it at the same time but i'm pretty sure that if i take it no later than 12 hours after (which i took before the 12 hours was up) then the pill should still remain at it's full capacity.
last night there was 'rubbing' but without a condom.. nothing went in me but there's still a chance?

Your chances are very slim. Worrying will only make you feel crappy, so chill out a bit. Also, you MUST take your pill at the same time everyday so there is no break in the hormone. They tell you to do it for a reason. But, you're smart for doubling up on the protection. I would say that if you are that worried about being pregnant, you shouldn't be having sex at all. You're doing everything pretty much right, so try to stop worrying all the time.....it's not good to stress yourself out!! :)

The chances of you getting pregnant are incredibly low, but they still exist. Most pill contraceptives are about 99% effective. Condoms are less than that. However, with the two combined, you're in a good position (no pun intended) to avoid a pregnancy.

That being said, that doesn't mean you CAN'T get pregnant. It's also not unheard of to have a period even when you're pregnant in the first trimester. Signs to look for are nausea, sore breasts, dizziness. If you're really not sure, go to your ob/gyn for a pregnancy test. Alleviate all doubt.

Your chances are 50-50. Either you are or you aren't. However, when I grew up, food didn't have a expiration date on it. You unscrewed the cap, and if it smelled bad, you threw it away. If the bread had mold on it, you pitched it. Regarding the condom, when you opened it, if it didn't crumble in your hand, it probably worked. I'd like to know where this condom has been. Has stud-muffin been carrying it around waiting to get lucky? My advice would be to leave the sex up to responsible adults (that can afford new condoms) while you and Mr. Right concentrate on growing up.

first off there is no proven 100% method of birth control except abstinence. Especially if you are not on time with your pill the chances are even greater. Wait till your next time of the month comes, and if you are really regular you will know if something is out of whack. If you are really stressing get a home test. First Response can usually tell you sooner than most. And if you want to be sure not to get pregnant, DONT HAVE SEX. Period.

I'm getting the idea that you're very young and just started having sex....I was always worried back then too!
To be honest, I got pregnant on the pill. I took it correctly for 6 years straight...but I wasn't using any other protection.
"Rubbing" does not get you pregnant unless any of his semen or pre-ejaculate got in or around your vagina.
Seems to me like you're pretty protected. Stop worrying until you miss a period...then just do a test to find out.

Let's see... using highly effective birth control... just had a period... I say slim to none. You are probably worried due to being programmed to be worried, which in many cases is a good thing. But you are being responsible, so in this case the worry is excessive and unnecessary.

For most women missing the period is the main sign of pregnancy. I think after you continue to have periods, you may learn to worry less.

Kudos to you for using excellent birth control.

If you are on the pill and taking it properly and using a condom every time then your chances of getting pregnant is slim. If you think you are pregnant, take a home pregnancy test just to put your mind at ease.

EDIT: "Rubbing"? You cannot get pregnant unless semen touches your vagina- simple as that.

Not taking your pill consistently reduces its effectiveness. If you're using a condom properly, you've got about a 96 percent chance that you won't get pregnant, and coupled with PROPER use of the pill, you've got excellent protection against pregnancy.

you really shouldn't be that worried because at least you are protecting yourself, so there isn't as much of a chance that you will get pregnant...but just to make sure...watch for signs of feeling like throwing up in the morning or if you are...if those kinds of things start...i'd go to the doctor just to check and make sure that you're not pregnant...or if it just so happens that you are...hope that helps!!!

Don't worry, it's great you're being so careful and responsible and therefore EXTREMELY unlikely you would be pregnant. Just be sure to take it the same time every day, set a reminder on your mobile phone or something to remind yourself. If you're still worried pick up a test from the shop, or wait for your period, and just keep doing what you're doing!
