What look for a casual outing?

Hey all, I've got a group bowling session I'm going to and I want to know what would be a good look, that would look good and classy.

I'm planning on wearing jeans, unfortunately I don't have any dress shirts that have a squared bottom so I can't wear them untucked (I have one but it's not one of my best). Would it be overboard to wear a dress shirt tucked into jeans?

Ladies, what do you think?

Suggest a polo shirt or a lightweight sweater.
And socks without holes!
