What Mcdonalds sells is a McRib, which is actually made from chopped and processed pork products. It actually tastes good. Ironically, they mold it into a shape which makes it look like a slab of babyback ribs, but if it were, and you bit into it, you would break your teeth. Not sure where McDonalds got that idea from I love ribs, but they are hard to eat on a sandwich !!

They have been for years, since 1988 or so. Off and on they sell it. They are ok, I just hate that they put pickles and onions on them...yuck! They only sell them at certain times, not all the time. It's a McRib sandwich. lol

It is called McRib. That ends any similarity to a real rib. It is a pork-like product shaped like a rib. They put raw onions and pickles on it to make it even more gross!! I call it botulism in a box.

it is true, they serve them here in NC. They are basically the same kind of meat you get in microwave meals, thrown together on a bun and drenched with BBQ sauce. They are really good, and the BBQ sauce is good when you dip your fries in it. I think they ruin it by putting the onions and pickles on it... but I dont care for them.

You really dont know what your missing out on, and Im really going to hate it when it goes out of "edition" again.... Kinda sad when you go into McD's in the morning for breakfast and you crave a McRib sandwhich......

Well they're "limited time only" foods, sometimes you can get them at one place but you can't get them at others. But yes they really do make a rib sandwhich at McDonald's. It's called a McRib.

Doesn't sound good to me. How about that sandwich that was for a Man sandwich. Tasted like it was dipped in hot pepper.
