I'm a Guy. I am 56 and MIT educated. As far as her Sex--it does matter--Women make up more than 50% of the population and it's time a woman of her caliber was seriously considered for the office of the President. Still we vote or should vote based on the ideas they subscribe to, to the degree they match what we each all think is best on an objective reasoned basis, irrespective of their sex or ours!!. Hillary is Qualified but I am for Gore with Hillary as his VP.
It's time to get OUR gov't back on track, and since Hillary will probably live longer than her politically genius husband, she can easily become the next President after Gore! Gore and Hillary, and yes Bill and Carter and McCain( a man of honor and integrity) could do alot better than the anal gang of incompetent ideological conservative thugs now running the National gov't into the ground for the rich corporations that can't think beyond their next Piss!! I recommend Obama for Secretary of State and McCain for Secretary of Defense! The future does not have to be as bleak as the Conservatives make it out to be. Senator Chuck Hagel would be my alternate choice for the Sec'y of DOD. We need partisanship but not the blind kind demanded by people like Sen Mitch McConnel, or that jerk in Texas, Senator Cornyn, a major Bush43 apologist!!
Hillary or Gore would not be religion-based candidates like so many other candidates running for President are.
Huckabee, Romney and Thompson are not even worthy of candidacy as they are just the ideological or religious extensions of the Bush43-Cheney mentality!
added thought: Ethically speaking, a person's sex or ethnicity or private religion should not be a part of any rational job description for US President. Age doesn't matter unless their health is at issue. The manner in which some here express themselves on this matter indicates patriarchial sexism is alive and well in America. If I were a woman, that alone is very good reason to vote for Hillary in 2008! Heck as a mature man who likes intelligent women as my peers, I'd vote for her!

Im a 27 year old male. I could care less if a woman is President, if I think she can do a good job. However, I don't want Hillary, because she never gives a straight answer to a question, I don't want HillaryCare, and to be totally honest, she is nothing besides power hungry IMHO. And the Bush Clinton dynasty must end.

Sure, I don't have a problem with a woman president. JUST NOT HILLARY!!!! If a woman is going to be president, she needs to be able to play with the boys of the world. She needs to be TOUGH on trade, military, security and morals. If she meets all of these qualifications, I don't mind having a female president.

Obviously this question is about Senator Hillary Clinton. . .
So I'll answer it as best I know how.
"Universal" Healthcare: Firstly, this is not universal healthcare. Universal health care would have to cover every human being (including unborn babies, which is, as far as I know, impossible. . . well you could start with outlawing abbortion. . .) and all animals and plants, as well as any extraterrestrial life forms on some other planet. . . that would be UNIVERSAL. Secondly. . . this must be paid for by. . .taxes!!! A lot of taxes. And basically, having rich (or any, actually) people's money taken away from them makes them not want to work so hard (and smart), which is what has made MOST rich people rich. So if they aren't working hard anymore. . . and they are being heavily taxed. . . they become poor. Or at least poorer. And then you either have to cut the quality of your healthcare, or tax the poor people who it's for more. And that way, it ends up making it worse for them in the longrun!!! (because government run/aided institutions ALWAYS use money less efficiently than privately run ones) Socialism CANNOT work. People at their basic level are. . . lazy. And selfish. Sorry. It's a fact.
Yes, I am a conservative guy with my own agenda, strongly influenced by my religion.
Hillary Clinton is a liberal woman with her own agenda, just as strongly influenced by her religion.
If you want me to comment more, email me, and I'll get around to it.

I am male, cannot vote in your election, but would have no problem with a woman president if she were the most qualified person.
She could not be worse, unless her name was Margaret Thatcher, than the eejit you do have in there now.

Yes, just not Hillary. I am all ready for a women president, but I think morally and politically she is a bad representation for women in politics. I would be ashamed if she got elected.
