Angry people are people who are really hurting on the inside and instead of crying, being angry is how they vent. Best way - have a heart to heart talk in a park, swimming pool, over coffee somewhere different. Listen and don't give an opinion unless it is asked. Empathy is the most you can give them to calm them down and get their angst out. Only a good friend will give any angry person the time of day so good luck.

I think it depends on what they are angry about- something from their past that they could not change or had no control over or is it something that goes on in the here and now that keeps reoccuring? If it's from their past- just be there for them and listen to them if they want to talk about it and reassure them you'll be there if they need you. If it's from here & now then try discussing what it is and offer options to try and change it or stop it! Good Luck!

Yes, I know a few really angry people Nothing can be done to change them; this has to be something they want badly enough to do what it takes. And very few want to change.
