I looked at the USB specification, but it only cares about the plug. I need to know how to talk about a wireless USB adapter that looks like a flash drive as opposed to a wireless adapter that has a USB cord attached to it.

Let me clarify: I'm not talking about the USB specification number. That has to do with electrical stuff.

I'm talking one of these:

Is there an official name, or is "Compact USB" about as good as it gets?

Hi. I have a USB based 'G' class wireless adapter just for my PC. Works OK but does drop the connection now and again. The form factor is, of course, USB 2.0.
