Hey guys I was wondering in your own opinion which team from both shows Ghost Hunters: TAPS or Paranormal State: PRS is better at what they do in terms of helping out the people who are haunted.

Ghost Hunters has a long history and highly respectable reputation. They approach their cases scientifically and from a perspective where they try and disprove the alleged hauntings. Paranormal State is made up of college kids, who don;t have near the experience of GH - and approach their cases from a christian perspective. The two are quite different, and I have yet to decide if PS is even legitimate or an outright fraud like Most Haunted was revealed to be. Myself, as an athiest, was a bit bothered by the heavily religious themed PS approach, and their lack of scientific techniques.

well i have seen paranormal state 2 times and i dislike it. many ppl like it but i dont. they are COLLEGE KIDS!!!! Ghost Hunters didn't start doing their business til they were like in their late 20s. They both help ppl but paranormal state is helping the like possessed or somethin'. ghost hunters help ppl who can't take the fact they have somethin' paranormal in their house or some place. then ghost hunters try to tell them that they don't or do have a "bad" spirit and tell them how to get help or to just stay calm over the fact. ghost hunters no what they are doin' no offense. so that is just my opinion. another thing is that i don't believe in the "possessed" like some ppl.

They both have their good points and their bad points.PRS i think the lead investigator has to many personal convictions that he is taking to other investigations that are disrupting the ongoing investigation.TAPS on the other hand i feel are grasping at straws due to declining popularity.(ie..when they did the investigation on the Lexington, there was a light dancing around on one of the cameras, they said it was their security personel walking around,it makes me think are they the ones staging things).TAPS has had alot of things that have happened recently that are questionable. It seems when a group makes it big they lose the reason why they started paranormal investigations to begin with, and that is to prove paranormal activity is real and to help others.

I have not watched TAPS or Paranormal State; so I cannot offer a credible opinion in comparison.

The BEST thing you and others can do is learn how to protect yourself when the need arises.

On my blog at Yahoo 360; I have posted several blog entries about psychic self defense, and spiritual warfare.

I've been watching TAPS since the first episode, so of course I'm more attached to them. I'm holding my judgment on Paranormal State until I've caught a few more episodes.

I think the paranormal state leader is a bit spiritual in his approach, he has his own personal "demons", that approach makes it more touchy feely for people who are looking for spiritual meaning to a haunting.

PS seems a little too scripted.
the host always seems to be talking into a walkie-talkie when doing voiceovers.

And like someone else posted; he seems to have his own religious demons...

II think P.S. is totally different than G.H. It does help people....at least the last show did...and I like that it does.A lot of people didn't like it...but I did. Let's wait and see what the next shows are like before we decide.

Both are lousy! They don't help the spirits or the people! And the people on taps are rude to the spirits. Both don't know what their doing!
